Schenker tightens global coordination of project cargo moves
German logistics services provider Schenker has tightened its coordination of global and regional project cargo moves.
Thomas C. Lieb, member of Schenker’s management board, said the new project cargo oversight globally “will look after such matters as services, working out routes and contractual negotiations, and render support to our subsidiaries all over the world.”
The company will also establish a similar structure regionally for project cargo services in Europe, America and Asia. Schenker said this would allow it to stay close to its project cargo customers and related market developments.
