SCHENKER’S SHANGHAI SUBSIDIARY STARTS TRADING
Schenker Logistics (Shanghai) Co. Ltd., a new subsidiary of German forwarding and logistics group Schenker, started trading at the beginning of December.
Schenker said that the new company offers a broad range of logistics services for major international customers working in the fields of electrical components and systems, telecommunications, automobile components, semi-conductors and chemicals.
The company’s 6,100-square-meter logistics center is equipped to handle services such as demand-oriented supply, inventory management, packing and repacking, and the quality control of raw materials and products.
In a separate development, Schenker said that Masped-Trias, its subsidiary based in Hungary, will be renamed Schenker Kft, effective Jan. 1. The company specializes in European land transport and other logistics services.
