Schneider Logistics names Escott president
National motor carrier Schneider National said it has named Tom Escott to head Schneider Logistics Inc., the company's logistics business unit.
Escott, formerly chief executive of GeoLogistics Corp.'s North American division., replaces Rodger Mullen as president of Schneider Logistics. Prior to his work at GeoLogistics, Escott founded ShipLogix, a company that runs transportation management software for companies via the Web, and was president of Caliber Logistics Inc., which became FedEx Supply Chain Services after FedEx acquired it several years ago.
