SCOTT NAMES EXEL AS LEAD LOGISTICS PROVIDER
The Scotts Company has named Exel as its lead logistics provider for its U.S. consumer brands.
Exel said that it will help re-engineer the company’s transportation and distribution systems. Exel will deliver an integrated solution involving the storage and transportation of Scotts’ products moving from suppliers to distribution centers and finally to retailers.
The logistics service provider will administer Scotts’ national transportation management services from Exel’s load planning center in Memphis, Tenn.
