Sea Star to increase intermodal fuel charges
Puerto Rico trade specialist Sea Star Line will increase it inland intermodal fuel surcharge on Nov. 4.
The increase is based on a review of costs associated with truck, rail and intermodal service providers during the period ended Sept. 24.
In Florida, the charge will increase from $48 to $50 for local drayage moves within the Jacksonville and Port Everglades districts, and from $124 to $130 for inland services to either of those ports from locations in the rest of the state.
A list of charges for major origin points outside of Florida is available online at www.seastarline.com/PDF/IFC_1016907.pdf.
