SEKO names new import director
Itasca, Ill.-based freight forwarder and logistics company SEKO Worldwide has named Joseph Burger director of import services.
Burger is responsible for all import compliance responsibilities and will become the corporate customs brokerage license holder for the Chicago area.
Burger started his career with the U.S. Customs Service and has been a licensed broker since 1974. He has held private sector positions with International Harvester, Rhenus Transport and Fritz Cos.
Annelori Roder, who had been SEKO’s director of import, has been reassigned and will now handle international business development for the Denver and Midwest areas.
