SHAKEUP AT SAIR USHERS IN NEW CHAIRMAN
The SAir Group named Mario A. Corti as chairman and delegate of the board at a March 15 meeting, placing him in charge of operational responsibilities of the group.
Current chairman Dr. Eric Honegger will step down on April 25, one year earlier than initially scheduled.
Corti, chief financial officer at Nestl', will leave that post after its annual shareholders' meeting April 5 to concentrate on his new duties with the SAir Group. The company said the chairmanship will overlap in the interest of board continuity.
