Sherman joins Venable in Washington
Michael D. Sherman, an international trade/regulatory compliance attorney, has joined the Washington, D.C. office of Venable.
He was a partner in the Washington office of Kelley Drye & Warren LLP, and had been a longtime partner with the firm of Collier Shannon Scott PLLC, prior to that firm’s 2006 merger with Kelley Drye.
Sherman has nearly three decades of experience practicing
international trade law, focusing on administrative law and policy as well as agency and regulatory matters involving economic sanctions, U.S. Customs, international trade agreements, export controls, foreign investment in the United States, the Jones Act and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.
