SILICON GRPAHICS CHOOSES BAX GLOBAL RETURNS MANAGEMENT PROGRAM
Silicon Graphics Inc., a billion-dollar provider of high-performance computing, visualization and data managing company, has selected BAX Global's Web-based product returns management program, NyRMA.
Silicon Graphics, based in Mountain View, Calif., is using MyRMA for returns of its computer products. The Web-based tool allows SGI personnel to automatically pick up shipments from their customers and then have them delivered to customer facilities for repair or replacement.
A long-time customer of BAX Global, SGI has been using BAX's BAXSaver service at its Chippewa Falls, Wis., product facility for a number of years.
'By using MyRMA, companies like SGI are able to create a private, secure area where managers of product returns can input all returns pickup and delivery information, serial numbers and other details, like special packaging, inside office pickup and delivery, recycling and disposal requirements,' said Chris Morton, managing director of BAX's Supply Chain Distribution Services.
BAX, based in Irvine, Calif., launched MyRMA in April.
