SINGAPORE AIR TO EXPAND FREIGHTER NETWORK
Singapore Airlines, the world’s third largest international air cargo
carrier, will expand its global freighter network in October.
SIA will launch B747-400 freighter service to Prestwick, Scotland. The
Singapore/Prestwick freighter also will serve Sharjah on route to Scotland and Copenhagen
on its return to Singapore via Sharjah.
SIA will add a second weekly frequency to Amsterdam on Sept. 29 and
upgrade its twice-weekly freighter service between Singapore and Bangalore from a B727 to
a B747-400.
Freighter service to Los Angeles will be increased to five times weekly
effective Oct. 4.
