SINOTRANS ANNOUNCES DETAILS OF NEW TRANSPACIFIC SERVICE
Sinotrans Container Lines has confirmed that its new transpacific service will start on June 29. The service will be called CAS with five vessels of 2,500 TEUs calling at Huangpu, Hong Kong, Chiwan, Shanghai, Long Beach, Oakland and Huangpu.
The new service will add around 130,000 TEUs in one-way capacity to the transpacific market.
At the same time, Sinotrans will end its participation in the CAX and PDS services of Hanjin Shipping and the other members of the CKYHS alliance.
