Sinotrans drops ship, ports on Pacific link
Chinese government-owned Sinotrans Container Lines has reduced the number of ships from five to four on its weekly transpacific China-America Express service by dropping calls at Oakland, Hong Kong and Chiwan.
The vessel “Trade Bloom” will make the first voyage with the revised 28-day round-voyage when it departs Shanghai today.
The China-America Express service now uses four 2,522-TEU ships, calling Long Beach; Shanghai; Busan and back to Long Beach.
