SIX FIRMS APPLY FOR OTI LICENSES
Six companies have applied to the U.S. Federal Maritime Commission for ocean transportation intermediary licenses.
Five firms applied for non-vessel-operating common carrier licenses, while one firm applied for a combination NVO/ocean freight forwarder license.
The five prospective NVOs are: World Way International, Bensenville, Ill.; Millennium Transportation Group, LaHabra, Calif.; West Consolidators, Inglewood, Calif.; Wingar Logistics, El Monte, Calif.; and JDK Logistics, Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif.
Walker International Transportation, Valley Stream, N.Y., applied for a combination NVO/freight forwarder license.
