South Korea truck strike over
Thousands of South Korean truck drivers ended a week-long strike that delayed international cargo shipments after the government threatened to withdraw tax breaks for drivers, the Associated Press reported.
The drivers were seeking higher fees from trucking and shipping companies.
Government officials estimated export losses had reached $530 million through Tuesday.
