St Kitts & Nevis picks BKA Logistics as official forwarder
The Federation of St. Kitts & Nevis, a twin-island nation in the eastern Caribbean, has named BKA Logistics, which specializes in food aid and humanitarian assistance, to be the official freight forwarder for the federation.
BKA Logistics, based in Washington, D.C., will be responsible for the logistical coordination of goods and materials moving between the United States and St. Kitts & Nevis. The islands are located 1,300 miles southeast of Miami.
St. Kitts was founded in 1623 as Britain's first colony in the West Indies. The present Federation gained independence in 1983 and remains part of the British Commonwealth.
