SUPPLY-CHAIN COUNCIL PLANS INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCES

   The Supply Chain Council, a Pittsburgh, Pa.-based not-for-profit organization that developed the Supply Chain Operations Reference model, will convene conferences in Latin America, Europe, Asia and Australia in September and October.

   The supply chain organization’s Latin America 2002 conference and exposition will take place in Mexico City on Sept. 9-10.

   An Australia/New Zealand conference and exposition in Melbourne, Australia, is scheduled on Oct. 16.

   Tokyo, Japan, will be the location of its Japan conference and exposition on Oct. 21-22.

   The Europe conference and exposition of the organization will be held in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, on Oct. 28-30.

   The theme of the Supply Chain Council’s conferences will be the Supply Chain Operations Reference model as a common language.
