SUPPLY-CHAIN COUNCIL SETS UP CHEMICAL INDUSTRY GROUP
The Supply-Chain Council, a not-for-profit trade association based in Pittsburgh, Pa., has approved the establishment of a chemical specialty industry group.
The group will serve as a forum for practitioners in the chemicals manufacturing and distribution industry and will promote collaboration for the development of best supply chain practices and performance measures, the Supply-Chain Council said.
Bud Lilze, a consultant with Bayer Corp., will chair the chemical specialty industry group.
