Survey: DOT Web site not user friendly
The U.S. Department of Transportation’s Web site scored low in a national survey of customer satisfaction with government service.
The Web site ranked near the bottom of government Web sites compared in The American Customer Satisfaction Index, compiled annually by the University of Michigan School of Business.
The survey measures consumer satisfaction levels with companies, trade associations and government through separate surveys. The DOT score indicates that people have difficulty navigating the Web site to locate information of interest.
