Swiss WorldCargo adds capacity on Swiss/Turkish/Pakistani routes
Swiss WorldCargo will add cargo capacity Oct. 31 between Zurich and Istanbul and between Zurich and Karachi under a leasing agreement with MNG Airlines of Turkey.
Swiss said a cooperation deal with MNG will provide Swiss WorldCargo with significantly wider marketing access to and from Karachi and Istanbul through an Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance & Insurance agreement.
Three times a week, MNG’s Airbus A300-200 B4 F will connect Switzerland with Turkey and Pakistan, enabling Swiss WorldCargo to offer 44 tons of capacity per flight and direction on these routes.
The flights will be operated by MNG, while booking and handling functions will be managed by Swiss WorldCargo.
The contract between both parties is valid for one year with the intention for a long-term partnership between both airlines.
Swiss WorldCargo is the cargo division of Swiss International Air Lines.
