Swiss WorldCargo increases India capacity
Swiss WorldCargo, the cargo division of Swiss International Air Lines Ltd., has increased its capacity between Switzerland and India by 17.5 tons per week, through a code share agreement with Air Canada.
Starting today, Swiss WorldCargo has 2.5 tons of capacity per flight on Air Canada’s daily Zurich to Delhi service, which uses Boeing 767 aircraft.
“Following the continuously high load factors throughout this year, Swiss WorldCargo is eagerly looking into new capacity agreements. Today we can state to have set another keystone of our capacity enhancement program covering niche markets with additional capacity to meet our customer’s needs,” said Markus Vetsch, Swiss WorldCargo’s vice president operations.
