SWISS WORLDCARGO REGIONALIZES ITS GLOBAL AIR CARGO OPERATIONS

Swiss WorldCargo, a subsidiary of Swiss International Air Lines, has divided its global air cargo operations into four regions.

The new regional structure includes the Swiss market, headed by Chris Heiz; Europe and Africa, headed by Robert Schefer; Asia and the Middle East, headed by Carl Schelfhaut; and the Americas, headed by Thomas Huchler.

“For all the many differences between the various market regions, Swiss WorldCargo still strives to apply the same basic strategy to secure its success: limiting its capacity to the holds of Swiss aircraft fleet and focusing on niches and products that offer high added value,” the company said.
