SynchroNet starts door-to-door service

SynchroNet Intermodal Services has started a new door-to-door service, DoorLogistics, which provides standard ISO boxes (20-foot, 40-foot, and 45-foot containers) door-to-door pricing and operations support.
The new service offers access to a range of ISO container capacity in many inland and coastal origins to destinations across the United States and Canada. The company said the service offers “more cost-effective utilization and management of ISO containers by reducing empty miles in the supply chain and repositioning the boxes for international use.”
SynchroNet provides North American repositioning services to handle the surplus of empty containers from inland locations to port cities through either stack-train or domestic interchange services. Additionally, the company provides “match-back” capabilities through its street-turns and its Export-in-a-Box service.
