TACA REVISES BUNKER CHARGES FOR THIRD QUARTER
The Trans Atlantic Conference Agreement has set its bunker adjustment factor surcharges for the third quarter, effective July 1.
For Atlantic and Gulf ports, the rate is $52 per 20-foot, up from $39 per TEU in the second quarter. For 40 footers, the rate is $104, up from $78 in the previous quarter.
For Pacific Coast ports, the rate is $78 per 20-foot, up from $59, while rates for 40 footers rose to $156, from $118.
TACA’s currency adjustment factor for eastbound and westbound remains unchanged at minus 7 percent for the third quarter.
