Flames from a new California wildfire have forced the closing of more than 20 miles of U.S. Highway 101.
Flames from a new California wildfire have forced the closing of more than 20 miles of U.S. Highway 101.
“You might as well be safe and get out now,” a fire official said, encouraging people to evacuate areas in the path of the life-threatening Dixie fire.
Crews are having trouble controlling the Dixie fire in northern California, which is now the second largest in the state’s history.
