Tanker makes maiden call at port of Vancouver
The “Green Park,” a 19,500-deadweight-ton tanker operated by Zodiac Maritime Agencies, has made its maiden voyage to the port of Vancouver, Wash.
Launched in August, the vessel sailed from Japan and Korea before arriving at the Columbia River port.
The “Green Park” discharged 4,000 metric tons of caustic soda at the port of Vancouver’s liquid bulk dock. Caustic soda is primarily used in the paper manufacturing industry.
The vessel will sail to Tacoma, Wash., and Vancouver, B.C. before returning to Asia.
