Tibbett & Britten makes eastern European appointment
U.K.-based international logistics service provider Tibbett & Britten has reacted to the enlargement of the European Union by appointing its first regional director for central and Eastern Europe.
The company has named Razvan Tabacaru, a Romanian national, to the newly created position.
Based in Vienna, Tabacaru will be responsible for the strategic and operational direction of Tibbett & Britten’s businesses in Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania and Slovakia. He will be supported in these efforts by the respective country managing directors, and reports to Saad Hammad, managing director in charge of Europe.
Tabacaru joins Tibbett & Britten after seven years at P&O Trans European Management, which became Wincanton Trans European Management at the beginning of last year. For the last four years with that company he was general manager, central and Eastern Europe.
