TIDEWATER NET INCOME JUMPS 54%
Tidewater Inc., the New Orleans-based vessel operator serving the offshore energy industry, reported net income of $34 million for its fiscal third quarter, ended Dec. 31, up 54 percent over the $22 million reported in the year-earlier period.
Revenue for the quarter rose 14.5 percent to $182 million.
For the first nine months of its fiscal year, Tidewater saw its net income climb 89.9 percent to $107.9 million, on revenue of $559.7 million, up 26.6 percent.
Tidewater owns and operates more than 570 vessels in the offshore energy industry.
