TNT North America augments Home Depot deliveries after hurricane
TNT Logistics North America, based in Jacksonville, Fla., has diverted drivers and trucks in Cape Coral, Lake Worth and Hollywood, Fla., to handle The Home Depot's deliveries of power generators and building materials to communities in South and Central Florida stricken by Hurricane Charley. Some of the incoming loads are originating as far away as Ohio.
TNT Logistics provides last-mile delivery for The Home Depot of home improvement products to houses and construction sites in Florida. It also assists Florida Power & Light, managing the utilities inside delivery process for power plants, job sites and equipment storerooms.
