TONNAGE FALLS 28% AT PORT OF PORTLAND
Total tonnage, excluding grain, was down 28 percent in May at the U.S Pacific Northwest port of Portland, Ore.
Container volume measured in 20-foot equivalent units was down 20 percent.
By contrast, the number of autos handled by the port in May was up 45 percent.
