TRAILER BRIDGE APPOINTS TWO TO BOARD
Trailer Bridge Inc., the truck/marine freight service founded by Malcom McLean, has named William G. Gotimer Jr. and Nickel H.S. van Reesema to its board of directors.
Gotimer is secretary and general counsel of Trailer Bridge. He is also a vice president and member of the board of Kadampanattu corp., an affiliate that owns the two larger roll-on/roll-off vessels chartered to Trailer Bridge. He has been associated with the two companies since 1991, after serving as legal counsel for British Airways, Pan American World Airways and McLean Industries.
Van Reesema is president and principle owner of Van Ommeren Shipping (USA) LLC, a U.S.-flag ship owning company based in Stamford, Conn. He joined Royal Van Ommeren in the Netherlands in 1973 and became president of the U.S. subsidiary in 1979.
John D. McCown, chairman and chief executive officer; Charles R. Cushing and Artis E. James are the other board members.
