Train dispatchers to vote on labor deal with CN
Canadian National Railway said it reached a tentative collective bargaining agreement with the union representing about 200 Canadian-based train dispatchers.
The Teamsters Canada Rail Conference/Rail Canada Traffic Controllers in Montreal, Toronto and Edmonton must still ratify the three-year deal.
The railroad continues to negotiate with five other unions in Canada whose contracts also expired at the end of last year. Those unions represent about 8,300 employees.
