Trammell Crow to attract tenants to Kansas City air cargo park
The Kansas City Aviation Department said Wednesday that Dallas-based Trammell Crow Co. has been hired as master developer for the KCI Business Airpark, located on the southeast corner of the airfield at Kansas City International Airport.
Trammell Crow will seek to attract tenants on the KCI Business Airpark property, including air cargo facilities, logistics firms, distribution facilities, light manufacturing and commercial office space.
Recent Trammell Crow development projects include airports in Dallas-Ft. Worth; Houston; Portland, Ore.; and Calgary, Alberta, airport officials said in a statement.
To help accelerate on-airport development, the Kansas City Aviation Department has decided to extend Tiffany Springs Parkway westward from Interstate 29 along the southern boundary of the KCI property to make the KCI Business Airpark more accessible and attractive to prospective tenants.
