TRANSOPTION AIMS TO HELP FIRMS MEET C-TPAT REQUIREMENTS

The Chicago-based consulting firm, TransOption Inc., is offering consulting services to companies seeking certification in the Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism, a U.S. Customs initiative.

TransOption said it would help firms identify their existing strengths, and assist them in consolidating those into a document that allows them to trim costs while meeting C-TPAT criteria.

“To be security compliant should not require companies to have to make an exorbitant investment,” said Tina Sauter, president of TransOption.

TransOption offers a range of services, including supply chain evaluation and design, logistics and procurement.
