TROY CONTAINER LINE OFFERS DIRECT LCL SERVICE TO GERMANY
Troy Container Line now offers direct less-than-containerload service to the German freight market, via the Port of Hamburg.
'It augments our current service via Antwerp, and will cut days off our previous door-to-door shipping times to Germany,' said Patricia Fitzgerald, senior vice president of the Red Bank, N.J.-based neutral non-vessel-operating common carrier.
Troy’s new Germany service includes fixed-day sailings, with a 10-day ocean transit time. In Hamburg, the freight will be deconsolidated by Confreight on the day of arrival, and will be immediately available for pickup. In addition to ocean shipping, door-to-door service can be provided, with pickup at the shipper’s dock and on-carriage from Hamburg to any point in Germany.
In the United States, LCL freight consigned for Germany can be received at Troy’s locations in Boston, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Cleveland, Chicago, Norfolk, New Jersey, and the company’s two newest locations, Milwaukee and Detroit.
