TUDOR APPOINTED COO AT CONTERM
Tim Tudor has been appointed chief operating officer at Conterm Consolidation Services, a Long Beach, Calif.-based non-vessel-operating common carrier.
Tudor, who replaces Cas Pouderoyen, will oversee the NVO’s sales, operations, and the development of its business activities in North America.
He entered the ocean freight transportation industry in 1984, when he joined Sea-Land Agencies, representing Australia New Zealand Direct Line. In 1987, Tudor joined ANZDL and was responsible for the development of the carrier’s import refrigerated cargo distribution program.
“Tudor brings to the position extensive experience in the NVOCC industry and expertise in sales, operations, logistics management and off-shore trade lane development,” Conterm said.
Conterm recently became part of the New American Consolidators Association (NACA) group, a neutral NVO corporation that includes Direct Container Line and Brennan International Transport.
“This is a very exciting time to join Conterm,” Tudor said. “With its participation in NACA's container-sharing and carrier purchasing programs, the company will continue as a neutral NVOCC with a lot to offer to its customers.”
