U.S./AUSTRALIA VSA TO ADD DIRECT CALLS AT ADELAIDE
Shipping lines of the U.S. Pacific Coast/Oceania vessel-sharing agreement will add direct calls at the port of Adelaide, Australia.
The joint service of ANZDL, Columbus Line, FESCO, Maersk Sealand and P&O Nedlloyd will have a revised rotation of Auckland, Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne, Auckland, Pacific islands, Oakland, Pacific Northwest ports of the United States and Canada, and Los Angeles.
In a joint statement, the carriers said that the addition of the Adelaide call responds to a growing flow of shipments to and from that port, which serves Australia’s southeastern wine growing and exporting region.
The carrier group will announce the date of the first Adelaide call soon.
