U.S., Ethiopia agree on open skies
The United States and Ethiopia signed an aviation treaty Tuesday that removes restrictions on commercial airline operations between the two countries.
The open skies agreement eliminates restrictions on price, routes, frequency and other operational factors. All-cargo carriers will be able to fly between the other country and a third country without having to connect to their home country.
The United States now has open skies agreements with 70 countries, many of which have been concluded in recent months.
