U.S. international air cargo up 3.5% in October
According to the latest U.S. Air Transport Association statistics, international air freight and express shipments carried by U.S. airlines increased 3.5 percent to 1.21 billion revenue ton-miles in October, from 1.17 billion revenue ton-miles in the same month 2004.
After the first 10 months of the year, ATA members’ international air freight and express shipments are up 3.6 percent to 10.79 billion revenue ton-miles, compared to 10.41 billion revenue ton-miles after the same period in 2004.
ATA Airlines are Aloha, Alaska, America West, American, ATA, Continental (including Micronesia), Delta, FedEx, Hawaiian, JetBlue, Midwest, Northwest, Southwest, United, UPS and US Airways.
