U.S. international air cargo up 5.3% in November

International air freight and express shipments carried by 15 U.S. airlines increased 5.3 percent year-on-year in November to 1.24 billion revenue ton-miles, according to the latest statistics provided by the Washington-based Air Transport Association.

   After 11 months of 2006, ATA members' international air freight and express shipments were up 6.9 percent to 12.80 billion revenue ton-miles.

   ATA Airlines are Alaska Airlines, Aloha Airlines, American Airlines, ATA, Continental Airlines, Delta Air Lines, FedEx, Hawaiian Airlines, JetBlue Airways, Midwest Airlines, Northwest Airlines, Southwest Airlines, United Airlines, UPS and US Airways.
