UKRAINIAN CARGO BUSINESS LAUNCHES NEW HELSINKI ROUTE
Ukraine International (UIA) cargo business said it expects a significant revenue increase after announcing its launch of twice-weekly flights between Kiev and Helsinki.
“The Ukraine has strong trade relations with Finland, and we are already seeing demand for cargo capacity on both our Thursday and Sunday flights,” said Vladimir Semenchenko, cargo director of UIA. “We have identified traffic from Finland that arrives in the Ukraine via another transshipment point, so we are confident that our direct flights, competitive pricing structure and service levels will be attractive to these customers.”
The new service is operated in cooperation with Finnair and Air Ukraine.
