UNION-TRANSPORT ACQUIRES INTER-MARINE FORWARDING CO.
Union-Transport has acquired Inter-Marine Forwarding Co. Inc., the New York-based customs clearance and import forwarding firm.
Inter-Marine, founded 70 years ago, is headed by Robert Mann and son Howard. The company has 100 employees with locations in New York, in Manhattan and JFK Airport; Los Angeles; and Miami.
The Manns will join U-T's management team.
U-T, based in Rancho Dominguez, Calif., provides global air and ocean freight forwarding, customs brokerage and supply-chain services.
