UNITED CARGO, LOGTECH CANCEL SOFTWARE DEAL
United Cargo has canceled plans to implement a Cargo 2000-compliant online air freight management system being developed by LogTech Corp., the logistics software development subsidiary of air freight trucker Forward Air Corp.
United and LogTech announced a partnership at an industry conference in May. The two companies were unable to reach agreement on contractual terms, Forward Air said.
United recently unveiled a new Web site at http://www.unitedcargo.com with added functions for making bookings and tracking shipments.
