United kicks off San Francisco/Nagoya service
United Airlines began nonstop daily service Saturday from San Francisco International Airport to the new Central Japan International Airport near Nagoya, Japan.
The Chicago-based airline will operate the combined passenger/cargo service using a Boeing 777.
Nagoya is the third Asian city that United has introduced service to in the past year. The airline launched nonstop service to Beijing in June and one-stop service to HO Chi Minh City in December.
