UNITED RAISES CARGO FUEL SURCHARGE
United Airlines Cargo Division will increase its fuel surcharge for international shipments from 15 cents per kilo to 20 cents per kilo, and for domestic shipments from 6 cents per pound to 8 cents per pound, effective April 1.
The Chicago-based airline said the surcharge rate is based on its jet fuel index (available online at http://www.unitedcargo.com).
