UNITED SHIPPING TO HOLD MEMBERS MEETING IN PRAGUE
United Shipping, an international freight forwarder and customs broker network, will hold its fifteenth annual meeting in Prague on June 2-7.
The network includes representatives from 71 companies, including 250 offices worldwide.
Top of this year’s agenda is the network’s recent designation as a U.S. Bureau of Customs and Border Protection Automated Manifest System non-vessel-operating common carrier filer.
“Our AMS certification allows us to continue to provide complete door-to-door services to our import and export clients,” said Fred Hall, president of United Shipping and Dallas-based Fred Hall & Associates.
Other meeting topics are the Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT), cargo tracking and tracing, contract negotiations, communications and marketing.
