United’s July cargo volumes down 0.9%
United Airlines reported a 0.9 percent year-on-year decline in system cargo ton-miles for July at 160.5 million system cargo ton-miles.
Freight increased 2.1 percent to 135.1 million cargo ton-miles, while mail was down 14.2 percent to 25.4 million cargo ton-miles.
For the year-to-date, United’s system cargo ton-miles are up 7.8 percent to 1.15 billion, compared to the same period last year.
