UP NAMES DIRECTOR, SENIOR VP
Union Pacific Corp. has named Conoco Inc. head Archie W. Dunham as director, and Robert W. Turner senior vice president, corporate relations.
Dunham served for more than three years as president and chief executive officer of Conoco before assuming the additional responsibilities of chairman. Before leading Conoco he was executive vice president, exploration production, for four years. He also served as senior vice president of polymer products for E.I. duPont de Nemours.
Turner has spent 21 years with Champion International Corp., where he was vice president of public affairs. International Paper Co. acquired Champion in June.
At UP, he will be responsible for corporate communications, government affairs, public affairs and media relations, and president of Union Pacific Foundation. He succeeds Robert F. Starzel who is retiring Sept. 1.
