UPS offers Saturday export service

The express carrier said the service will allow many shippers to make overseas deliveries as soon as Monday.

Express carrier UPS will now allow shippers to schedule Saturday pickups of export shipments for delivery to 57 overseas markets, with some deliveries made as soon as Monday.
UPS said the new export service builds on its existing Saturday ground delivery and pickup services for its U.S. customers, which were started in 2017. The company expects small and midsize e-commerce firms, in particular, to take advantage of the service.
The destination countries related to the Saturday export pickup service are located in the Americas, Europe and Asia Pacific. UPS plans to expand the global coverage for this service later this year.
