USDA launches Internet list of PACA license holders
The U.S. Department of Agriculture has generated an Internet list of fruit and vegetable suppliers holding licenses under the Perishable Agricultural Commodities Act.
The list, available online at http://www.ams.usda.gov/fv/paca.htm, provides information on 15,000 businesses that hold PACA licenses, USDA said.
Under the PACA, all interstate traders of fresh and frozen fruits and vegetables must be licensed by USDA. USDA is authorized to suspend or revoke a trader’s license for violating the PACA.
