USPS takes on bankrupt APX’s deliveries
The U.S. Postal Service said Thursday it will take over the undelivered packages of bankrupt consolidator APX Logistics.
Santa Fe Springs, Calif.-based APX, which filed for protection under Chapter 11 last week, was the largest provider of package delivery services to businesses for USPS.
“We are adding resources and increasing the number of drop-ship appointments at our bulk mail centers to make sure these packages are delivered as soon as possible after they enter our network,” said Azeezaly Jaffer, USPS’s public affairs and communications vice president.
